Omakilpi was founded in spring 2018 with the innovation to create a company that responds to a wide range of customer needs by offering a variety of plates for different uses.

The first plans to start a plate company were made in pencil on graph paper back in 2002.

However, the idea remained on the back burner and the time was finally ripe 16 years later when social media changed the world.
